Do You Need a Water Filtration System?

Once you know what is in your water, you can choose a water filtration system that works best for you. In many areas in the Dallas – Ft. Worth area, a carbon-based Brita system that attaches to your faucet is all you’ll need. However, if you’re worried about fluoride, heavy metals, spores, and other contaminants, you can install a certified NSF International or Water Quality Association approved filter.
If you find that your water has an unpleasant smell, tastes like chlorine, or contains sediment, you may want to do more than install a filter on the faucet or fixture. Under those circumstances, it may be in your best interests in these kinds of cases to install a filter at the point where the water enters your home, so that all the water in your house – from your shower, washing machine, to kitchen sink – is filtered.
